RHP Foundation

The development of sustainable and high quality products for the horticulture sector, not only requires professional attention for production, service and support, but also quality control and certification. Quality control is executed by ourselves as well as by independent organisations. For years, our quality guidelines have been linked to the quality mark of the RHP Foundation.

Since 1999 the RHP quality mark is awarded to our products.
The RHP foundation aim is to optimise the quality of peat products, raw material, potting soil formulas, substrates, soil supply and soil improvement materials. The RHP quality mark is a certified quality mark. It is awarded to our products because they satisfy all requirements listed in the certification scheme. We received the RHP certificate after a period of implementation and realisation of all requirements from the certification scheme. After extensive independent inspection by ECAS, the RHP quality mark was issued. The quality mark guarantees the good quality of the product from mining until the process at the buyer. Technical consultation and research are a part of the activities of the RHP Foundation.

Acceptance by the Accreditation Board means that the quality mark is also recognised internationally. This status of the RHP quality mark is a major added value for purchasers of potting soil and substrates in all European countries. Control of the RHP quality mark is done by an independent organization (ECAS), that’s why the quality mark guarantees safety and excellent quality.
