Phonisorb was developed specifically to absorb airborne noise and is used worldwide. Thanks to the open cells in polyester and polyether foams. This material is ideal for sound absorption. The elastic properties of the material make it very easy to fit it anywhere. Phonisorb is a self-extinguishing material, as is shown in the following properties.

Applications of Phonisorb
The product is used as a cover material in air conditioning systems and in the machine building industry. For example: casings of compressors, aggregates, cabins, yacht building and shipbuilding, computer rooms, partition walls and many other applications.
Using Phonisorb
Phonisorb can be punched or sawn in any desired shape. The material is also easy to cut with a (electric) bread knife. Before installation it is sensible to remove a small part of the foil on the self-adhesive side and press this part in the correct position on surface that has to be insulated. Then remove the foil gradually and press the foam onto the surface.
