Splitter attenuators

Splitter attenuators are custom-made sound absorbers that allow the flow of air but prevent the release of air sound. The sound absorber consists of a metal casing that is insulated with absorbing panels. This absorption material in the panels is flame extinguishing. Splitter attenuators are also used for resonance damping. The following details are necessary to build a splitter attenuator:

Applications of splitter attenuators
Splitter attenuators are mainly used in air flues, casings, ventilation systems, suction systems and many other areas where air flows.

Delivery range
There are three versions of splitter attenuators: aluminium, galvanised steel and stainless steel. It is also possible to fit the damper with a rain hood and a grid at the entry side. The panels can also be fitted with flow profiles to reduce resistance, as is shown in the drawings.

Product specifications of splitter attenuators
The mineral wool that is used as absorption material is non-combustible and moisture proof. The dampers can be installed at any location on request.
