Phonkiller M2C

Phonkiller M2C was developed specifically to reduce vibrations and the sound level that radiates from these vibrations. The combination of this paste with a counter plate is used worldwide for the reduction of contact sound. Phonkiller M2C is a durable elastic 1-component reduction compound. This modified Silan polymer is a white, odourless paste. It is ideal when used for thick walls of aluminium and steel structures. Phonkiller M2C has been certified in accordance with IMO FPTC part 5 and Annex 2 item 2.2. concerning burning behaviour, smoke development and toxicities. The specific properties are given below.

Applications of Phonkiller M2C
This product is mostly applied in yacht building, shipbuilding and bodywork building industries, for partitions, walls, ceilings and numerous other applications.

Phonkiller M2C is a ready-to-use paste for noise reduction of metal structures thicker than 3 mm. For the best results, the pastas and the counter plate should be applied to the structure being insulated in the ratio 4:1:1 The processing and foundation temperature must be between + 5°C and + 40°C. Phonkiller PU2 adheres very well to aluminium and steel. This surface must be clean, dry, fat-free and dust-free.

Product specifications of Phonkiller M2C
Phonkiller M2C contains no isocyanates, silicons or solvents. After the bucket has been opened,  a skin will form on the paste after 10-15 minutes; this skin is easy to remove. The paste underneath can then be used. After use, tools can be cleaned with turpentine or Mek; hands can be cleaned with water and soap. Once the Phonkiller M2C has hardened after at most 24 hours, it must be removed mechanically.
