Phonkiller 2026D
Phonkiller 2026D was developed specifically to reduce vibrations and the sound level that radiates from these vibrations. It has its origins in the automobile industry. This product is used worldwide for the reduction of structural noise. Phonkiller 2026D is a dispersion of plastics and minerals with excellent sound absorption properties. This beige, nearly odourless (slightly sour smell) paste can be sprayed. This sound—absorbing paste is applied without counter plate. The specific properties are given below:

Applications of Phonkiller 2026D
Sound absorption for metal surfaces in vehicles, machines, trains, yachtbuilding and shipbuilding, façade plates, elevator shafts, air channels, sound insulating doors, panels and many other applications for existing or new buildings with a material thickness up to 3mm.
Using Phonkiller 2026D
Phonkiller 2026D must be applied on a dry and clean foundation. When it is used on steel, we recommend applying a primer first. Hot dip galvanized sheet material only needs to be cleaned. When it is applied on anodised aluminium, it is sensible to sand dry the material lightly and apply a primer afterwards. After being applied with a spatula or spray gun, it takes 24 - 48 hours before it dries, depending of the relative humidity.

Product specifications of Phonkiller 2026D
Phonkiller 2026D must be stored dry and frost-free. The material does not contain solvents. Oil and petrol do not dissolve the material but they will be absorbed into the material. The material is not suitable for processing in water or very humid conditions.
