IMO (International Maritime Organisation)
The International Maritime Organisation is located in London and is responsible for coordinating governments and the shipping industry, in particular in a technical respect, in order to improve maritime safety and prevent or reduce water pollution from ships. The IMO is now a specialised organisation of the United Nations.

NKIP (Dutch Inspection Institute for Pleasure vessels)
The Dutch Inspection Institute for pleasure vessel is a recognised inspection centre for pleasure boats, guideline 94/25/EG, and is located in Joure. Phonisol and Phonisorb comply with the required essential safety requirements. These insulation materials are used in engine rooms.
